What I Do

Although a bit cliché these days, the saying is true: Content is king. Does yours need a boost? Are you redesigning or launching a website that needs fresh content? Do you have content languishing in the archives that could still be of use to your audience? How can you create one piece of content and use it on multiple platforms, whether website, video, social, or otherwise?

Content strategy and planning is a big undertaking, especially for organizations who don't have a dedicated marketing and communications team (or have one that's overworked!) Let's start with a content audit and end with a comprehensive content calendar for your team.

I am also experienced in managing print and digital publications from soup to nuts.

One of my biggest career achievements: Serving as project manager and lead content creator for the redesign of SchoolNutrition.org, which won the 2023 Gold Circle Award for Best Website from the American Society of Association Executives.

With more than 15 years of print and digital writing and editing experience and a degree in journalism from Penn State, I've produced high-quality content on a variety of topics for multiple distribution channels. From feature articles to sponsored content and website copy to event publications, I can write and edit it all.

From the time I started scrapbooking in high school, I've been enamored with the visual display of content—a love that only increased during my first job as a page designer at a newspaper. Since then, I've grown my graphic design skills and have experience in publications, brochures, social media, ads, posters, logos, and more.
